Hercílio Luz Bridge is indicated as a symbol of Santa Catarina

According to the latest opinion poll conducted by the Mapa Institute... Hercílio Luz Bridge, popularly known as the "old lady," was the most voted for symbol/postcard of Santa Catarina, with 37% of spontaneous mentions.

The Florianópolis indication (7%) occupies second place, tied with Serra do Rio do Rastro (7%), while Balneário Camboriú (4%) occupies fourth place.

Importantly, the survey conducted by Instituto Mapa with a thousand respondents indicates Ponte's significant leadership in all six mesoregions of the state.

Governor Carlos Moisés reopened the great historical and architectural symbol of Santa Catarina in 2019, but the restoration is largely due to the courage and commitment of former governor Raimundo Colombo, who in his previous terms worked hard to complete the renovation and return the bridge to the public.
