School in Motion: Santa Catarina educational project officially launched in Bahia.

With multidisciplinary and inclusive activities, the School in Motion Project blends education, sport, culture and lots of fun. The initiative is part of the Cultivar Program, a creation from Santa Catarina that has been gaining ground and has just been implemented in Bahia. This new phase officially began this Monday (1st), with the launch of the program at the opening of the Sento School Games.-See 2025.

The debut of the Cultivar Program in the Bahian municipality featured hundreds of children and lots of games. All of this took place at an event organized in partnership with the Municipality of Sento-Sé. There were sports, interactive activities, and even a show by the band Astronave de Papel: a group from Santa Catarina that brings the characters from Turma do Júnior and sings about the content and activities of Cultivar.

The party started around 16 PM. Besides the children, teachers, and municipal officials, the event featured Paulão do Vôlei, Olympic champion with the Brazilian National Volleyball Team.

“A great celebration of education, sports, and our youth. And along with this energy, we launched the School in Motion project: sports, citizenship, inclusion, and knowledge,” commented the Secretary of Education of Sento-Sé, Jeorge Murilo Ribeiro.

The event in Bahia symbolizes the advancement of the Cultivar Program, an initiative of the Guarani Sport group, which has over 25 years of experience in the educational market. The program aims to equip schools with didactic and pedagogical tools for teaching and learning educational sports.

With its own methodology, the proposal aims to develop the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional aspects of students. This includes training, teaching materials, and content geared towards both teachers and students. Developed in Santa Catarina, this methodology is now arriving in Bahia.

To convey this message at the launch party, the band Astronave de Papel took to the stage with colorful attire and, accompanied by characters from Turma do Júnior, the group played songs with themes that represent the essence of this initiative: health, healthy eating, education, respect, and lots of creativity.

School in Motion

One of the highlights of the Cultivar Program is the Movement School Project. Now officially implemented in Bahia, this initiative consists of a didactic-pedagogical solution that aims to meet the pressing need for activities involving the body and brain, especially for children in the early childhood education age range, which is crucial for their overall development.

The methodology utilizes a set of practical and didactic tools, developed by specialists in the field of movement in education, creating conditions for the teacher to work with the entire class simultaneously on activities aimed at the neuropsychomotor development of children.

The focus ranges from gross and fine motor coordination to perceptual-motor and cognitive exercises, always in a didactic, guided, and playful way. And, for implementation, training and workshops are conducted with teachers to exchange experiences and clarify the methodological process.

Paper Spaceship Band

Despite recently reaching over 1,5 million views on YouTube, this is the first time the band Astronave de Papel has performed outside of Santa Catarina. The group was formed within the context of the Cultivar Program, after a series of meetings between musicians who share the same love for art and education.

The band consists of Marcos MarFlui, composer, vocalist and creator of Turma do Júnior; Luiz Maffei, composer, bassist and music producer; Greg MarFlui, guitarist and backing vocalist; Zé Martins, guitarist and backing vocalist; Bira Blues, harmonica player and backing vocalist; Henrique Heskova, guitarist and backing vocalist; and André Geléia, drummer.

With lyrics full of affection, arrangements that blend rock, reggae, forró and Brazilian rhythms, and a concept that unites art and purpose, Astronave de Papel has been winning over not only children, but entire families.

Junior's Class

The Paper Spaceship is one of the many creations that originated within Turma do Júnior, an initiative created by Marcos MarFlui more than ten years ago, which produces multimedia content, educational campaigns, music, and videos aimed at children and families.

The Junior Gang's mission is to educate in a playful and musical way, transforming everyday values and care into stories that teach and move audiences. Among their standout projects is Check My Baby, which raises awareness about preventing domestic accidents and caring for young children.

Over the years, the group has expanded, becoming a platform for communication and educational entertainment, bringing together musicians, teachers, artists, and producers. “Turma do Júnior is an ecosystem of ideas. It's already become a book, a series, a song, an event, and now a band. Everything we do is part of the same essence: promoting joy and awareness through art,” summarizes MarFlui, manager of the Cultivar Program.

Online, Turma do Júnior has been gaining traction. It has millions of views, taking the initiative's educational approach beyond national borders. In terms of in-person activities, Guarani Sport's initiatives have reached different municipalities and have already attracted attention internationally. According to Marcos Marflui, the expectation is to expand even further, and news will soon be released on social media. To follow along, simply follow @turmadojunioroficial on Instagram.
