The event celebrates the work of the legendary German composer and harpsichordist Johann Sebastian Bach, conducted by maestro Frederico Mussi, known for his vast experience in Germany and Brazil, and current conductor of Kantorei St. Thomas in Leipzig.

The repertoire, in addition to Bach's well-known Orchestral Suite No. 3, also includes works by other contemporary composers of the German master, with highlights including the Passacaglia for 2 Violas by Händel, the popular Adagio in G Minor by Albinoni/Giazotto, the Symphony in B Flat Major No.2 by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, son of the honored composer. Bach exerted a great musical influence during his time, but his body of work was also immortalized as the pillars of Western Music, which is why the Concerto Grosso by Brazilian composer Cláudio Santoro will also be performed, a tribute to the genius of one of the most important authors of all time.
