Florianópolis will host an unforgettable evening on December 3rd, when the band Fhop Music presents the Christmas Cantata in a single performance at the Ademir Rosa Theater, located in the Integrated Culture Center (CIC). The show, which begins at 19:30 pm, will bring together 13 musicians and singers in a performance that promises to move the audience by narrating the story of Christ's birth through songs that transcend generations. Tickets are on sale at the Sympla website.
The concert celebrates the release of the album “Vinde, Cantemos!” (Come, Let Us Sing!), launched in November, which features a selection of Christmas and worship songs, mixing traditional hymns and well-known versions with original compositions by the band. Among the tracks are classics such as “O Noite Santa” (O Holy Night) and “O Pequeno Baterista” (The Little Drummer), as well as original creations like “Cântico de Maria” (Song of Mary) and “O Filho de Deus” (The Son of God). The complete repertoire also includes “Ó vem, ó vem Emanuel” (O Come, O Come Emmanuel), “Natal” (Christmas), “Vinde Cantai” (Come and Sing) and “Eis dos Anjos a Harmonia” (Behold the Angels' Harmony).
For this special evening, in addition to songs that exalt the message of hope and faith, two extra songs will also be presented exclusively to the audience in Florianópolis.
About the band
Fhop Music is a music ministry founded on June 1, 2016, in Florianópolis, as an extension of the local church Florianópolis House of Prayer (FHOP). Its purpose is to place Christ at the center of worship through songs grounded in Scripture, leading the community to a deeper experience of faith and devotion.
The name Fhop Music derives directly from the Florianópolis House of Prayer church, with the addition of the term "Music" to identify the musical aspect of the ministry. Currently, the ministry is led by Pastor Vinícius Sousa, with the leadership of Pastor Emi Sousa, senior pastor and worship leader, who guide the mission of spreading the Gospel message through music.
Fhop Music has quickly established itself as one of the leading names in contemporary Christian music in Brazil. On Spotify, it boasts over 4,8 million monthly listeners and 450 million streams. On YouTube, it has surpassed 600 million views, notably with "Tu És + Águas Purificadoras (Ao Vivo)," which has already exceeded 178 million plays, and "Colossenses e Suas Linhas de Amor," with over 60 million views. On social media, it has an engaged community with over 513 followers on Instagram and 124 on Facebook, amplifying the impact of its messages of faith and worship to thousands of people around the world.
