The Santa Catarina Historical Museum, in the Cruz e Sousa Palace, and the Handicraft Gallery, in the Casa da Alfândega, will undergo changes in their opening hours starting this Friday (21) due to the start of the Carnival festivities in the central region of Florianópolis, where they are located.
The Craft Gallery, at Casa da Alfândega, will be closed on Friday (21), due to the passage of the Berbigão do Boca block, which opens the island's Carnival.
The Santa Catarina Historical Museum has two entrances open to the public until March 4: one to the Garden on Tenente Silveira Street; and one to the building in front of Praça XV/Catedral. The other entrances are temporarily closed due to the hoardings put up for the Carnival period. Visiting hours remain the same: Tuesday through Friday, from 10 am to 17:30 pm; Saturdays, from 10 am to 13:30 pm.
