Bloco da Maricota returns to the North of the Island on Carnival Sunday, maintaining a tradition that spans more than two decades. This year's party takes place next Sunday (15), with gatherings starting at 20 pm, on the Santinho slope, bringing together residents and visitors for the parade.
The parade is scheduled to start at 21 PM, along the main street of the neighborhood, accompanied by the band Calibra. After the parade, the program continues at Arena Náutico FC, where the band Swing Maneiro will perform starting at 23 PM.
The Bloco da Maricota is organized by Floripa Sunset Cultural, through the Municipal Law for Cultural Incentive, the Franklin Cascaes Cultural Foundation, and the Municipality of Florianópolis. The event is supported by the companies Hai, Cotisa, Harley Davidson, Procave, and Hit Honda.
