On February 16th and 17th, the Continente Shopping It offers a special and free program, with attractions for children, families, and pets. The highlight this year is the capybara theme, which inspires Capifolia, a carnival-style party full of playful, musical, and interactive activities.
The festivities begin on Monday the 16th with the musical “Cacá, Capitu and the Melody of the Forest,” at 17 pm in the food court. This free attraction features music, characters, and a lighthearted and fun atmosphere to delight children and officially kick off Carnival at the shopping mall.
On Tuesday the 17th, Capifolia takes over Continente Shopping with an intense program throughout the afternoon. From 14 pm to 16 pm, Carnapet takes place, a special moment for pet owners to enjoy Carnival alongside their pets, with caricatures, a snack table, and a pet parade with prizes from Cobasi.
Following that, from 16 PM to 18 PM, the children's audience takes center stage with a carnival dance party, featuring a marching band, games, characters, and a special appearance by the capybara characters Capitu and Cacá. The program also includes a costume parade, guaranteeing lots of fun and unforgettable moments for the children.
According to Gisele Onofre, marketing manager at Continente Shopping, the goal is to create accessible and inclusive experiences during the Carnival period. "Carnival is a time of celebration and joy, and our intention is to provide activities that involve the whole family, delivering a free event that combines pet-friendly, children's, and cultural fun in one place," she emphasizes.
