Carnival Saturday marks the debut of Realce Floripa Project, initiative of Franz Cabaret In partnership with cultural producer Louise Krieger, the first edition brings together Brazilian music, performances, and a festive atmosphere in a free, open-air program, starting at Praça Carl Hoepcke at 17 PM. In case of rain, the entire program will be moved to Franz Cabaret.
Opening the festivities at 17 PM, DJ KIBO takes over the music and sets the mood to welcome the audience with a vibrant set. At 18 PM, the Fanfa da Ponte Show takes the stage with its wind and percussion ensemble, bringing the audience versions that range from Brazilian classics to pop, in a performance marked by carnival costumes and interaction.
Following that, at 19 pm, musician Luiz Meira and singer Juliana D Passos will host the Baile do Meira, inviting the audience to sing and dance to the sounds of artists such as Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Djavan, Rita Lee, Paula Lima, and Jorge Ben Jor, as well as original compositions and Carnival songs.
The program also features live performances by circus artists from the Lona Azul group, enhancing the atmosphere of fantasy and celebration.
With free admission and an open invitation to all revelers, Realce Floripa kicks off its journey celebrating music, gathering, and the cultural occupation of urban space — rain or shine.
