From September 26th to 29th the Film Gilberto Gerlach and the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS/SC), both spaces located in Integrated Culture Center (CIC), receive the program of the 1st Exhibition of Japanese Cinema of Florianópolis. The event brings together works produced from 2006 to 2022, with themes that portray human relationships, arts and traditions, and bring reflections on life and society. Admission to all sessions is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Exhibition is an initiative of the Nipocultura organization of Florianópolis, with the institutional support of the Japan Foundation in São Paulo, and has the support of the Children's Film Festival and the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, through the Santa Catarina Culture Foundation (FCC) and the Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC).
