Adding two Golden Globes, a Golden Lion and 11 Oscar nominations, 'Poor Creatures', directed by Yórgos Lánthimos, is a romance and science fiction film that causes curiosity because it features a kind of female version of Frankenstein. The film has its exclusive premiere this Thursday, at Paradigma Cine Arte, with screenings at 19:05 pm. The schedule will be available until next Wednesday, February 7th.

Based on the book of the same name by Alasdair Gray and referencing the classic Frankenstein, the story takes place in the Victorian Era and follows Bella Baxter (played by Emma Stone), brought back to life after her brain is replaced by that of her unborn son. The experiment is carried out by Doctor Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe), a brilliant but unorthodox scientist.

Other productions are also on display, such as 'Vidas Passadas', directed by Celine Song, in the 14pm session, 'Anatomy of a Fall', directed by Justine Triet, in the 00pm session, and 'A Menina Silenciosa', by Colm Bairéad, in the 16:21 pm session.
