On September 15th, at 15pm and 16pm, the Gilberto Gerlach movie theater, in Integrated Culture Center (CIC), receives free premiere sessions of the film "The Magic Island - The Journey of the Rose with Zé Perri". Tickets can be booked on the Sympla website. Tickets for the first session are already sold out.
Produced by the artistic group Cantos de Gaia, linked to the Department of Arts of the Federal University of Santa Catarina Parceria (UFSC), the film is in partnership with the Conexão Erê Extension Program, of the Institute of Arts of the Federal University of Uberlândia.
Synopsis: Rose is an enchanted flower, guardian of ancestral knowledge, whose petals carry codes of light and whose aromas open magical portals. Aviator Zé Perri, in his work as an air courier, was tasked with taking the flower Rose from the elder of the Island of Flores, located in the Azores archipelago, to an elder of the Island of Santa Catarina. With this mission, Zé Perri and Rose disembark in Florianópolis, and on their journey through the south of the island they meet the fisherman, the healer, the mamão ox gang and enchanted beings of the Magic Island.
