O Cineclub of the Children's Film Festival takes place every Saturday, at 16pm, in the Gilberto Gerlach room at Integrated Culture Center (CIC). Entry is free and on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to the space's capacity of 136 seats). The initiative has the support of Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC) e Santa Catarina Cultural Foundation (FCC).
Day 27/4: "My friend Totoro", by Hayao Miyazaki. The animation tells the story of Mei, a young girl who finds a small passage in her backyard, which leads her to a legendary forest spirit, known as Totoro. Her mother is in the hospital and her father divides the time between teaching at college and taking care of his sick wife. When Mei tries to visit her mother on her own, she gets lost in the forest, and only the big, fluffy Totoro can help her find her way back home.
