O Virtual Museums Project invites you to another free session that promises to delight lovers of modern art. On the 27th, Saturday, at 15pm, at Paradigma Cine Arte, the renowned collections of the Beyeler Foundation in Riehen, Switzerland, and the Folkwang Museum in Essen, Germany, will be explored, offering a unique immersion into the universe of avant-garde painting.

In this session, participants will be taken on a virtual journey through the rooms of the Beyeler Foundation and the Folkwang Museum where modern art reveals itself in its multiple facets. From impressionism to contemporary painting, the itinerary includes masterpieces by iconic artists such as Monet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne and Van Gogh, offering a glimpse of the colors, shapes and emotions that defined the period. Monet's rich palette, Degas' captured movement, Renoir's intimate portraits, Cézanne's innovative compositions, and Van Gogh's vibrant landscapes will provide viewers with a deep understanding of the development of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism.

Moving forward in time, it will be time to appreciate the work of expressionists such as Kokoschka, Macke and Kirchner, whose works reflect the emotional intensity and stylistic innovation of the movement. These artists' expressive lines and bold colors convey a subjective view of the world, capturing emotions and moods with visceral power.

The abstractions of Kandinsky, Mondrian, Klee and Rothko will be explored next, revealing how these artists challenged the traditional conventions of art, using shapes and colors to express deep ideas and feelings. Kandinsky, with his dynamic and spiritual compositions, Mondrian, with his rigorously balanced lines and colors, Klee, with his playful and poetic forms, and Rothko, with his intensely meditative color fields, all contributed to modern visual language.

The journey ends with a dive into Andy Warhol's POP ART, highlighting the aesthetic diversity and innovation of avant-garde movements. Warhol's works, with their vibrant colors and everyday themes, represent a reinterpretation of popular culture and a critique of consumerism, offering a unique perspective on contemporary society. The iconic Campbell's soup cans and celebrity portraits will be some of the highlights, illustrating how Warhol transformed common objects and figures into art with high visual and conceptual impact.
