O Cineclub of the Children's Film Festival takes place every Saturday, at 16pm, in the living room Gilberto Gerlach do Integrated Culture Center (CIC). Entry is free and on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to the space's capacity of 136 seats). The initiative has support from the Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC) and Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (FCC).
The Young Prince (by Ducca Rios, animation, BA, 2015, 3 min): The Young Prince asks the King to give him a pony and the King imagines him as a warrior in his cavalry. They go to the enchanted forest and several ponies and enchanted creatures introduce themselves to the boy, but he doesn't like any of them. In the end, he opts for a thin, gray pony, showing that friendship and affection are not based on appearance (The King is surprised, but then smiles).
Santa's new clothes (by Guto Bozzetti and André Bozzetti, RS, fiction, 2016, 10min): Santa Claus announces that he will not come to Brazil for Christmas because of the strong heat and a group of children decide to make new clothes so the good old man can enjoy the summer in tropical lands and being able to deliver all the gifts, of course.
Miroca and his deciduous cuckoo (by Claudio Bitencourt and Diego Lopes, PR, animation, 2014, 13 min): Dona Miroca, after panicking because her watch broke, finds time to meet an old friend and discover that life can be very enjoyable if we have time for the little pleasures it offers us.
ba (by Leandro Tadashi, fiction, SP, 2015, 10 min): The boy Bruno is forced to deal with the changes that occur in his life when his “Bá” (from Batchan, grandmother in Japanese) is brought to live in his house .
Lipe, grandpa and the monster (by Fellipe Steffens and Carlos Mateus, RS, animation, 2016, 9 min): A boy goes to spend the weekend at his grandparents' farm. During a fishing trip, he learns a secret from his grandfather, and ends up making a new and unusual friendship.
Escola de Ensino Phenomenal (by Nélio Spréa and Levi Brandão, fiction, PR, 2014, 10min): At Escola de Ensino Phenomenal, children's ideas are taken seriously. The FIFI director is a master of jokes and goes to great lengths to support the students…
