Course online performed by Sesc Research and Training Center from the 16th of November, it is dedicated to introducing the thought of Angela Davis, a world reference in the struggle to build a world without oppression.
Over the course of four meetings, the various aspects of Davis' life and work will be addressed, including the books An Autobiography, Women, Race and Class, Women Culture and Politics and Freedom Is a Constant Struggle.
The course is promoted in partnership between CPF-Sesc and Boitempo, responsible for publishing Davis' works in Brazil, and aims to promote reflections on the new configurations of feminist thought today in the national and global context, with a view to the struggle that black women have constituted as a fundamental basis for freedom and resistance movements.

- 23/11 | Class 3 - Women, culture and politics with Conceição Evaristo;
- 25/11 | Class 4 - Women, race and class with Raquel Barreto.
