They are open until September 20 registrations for the project DanceAbility, which offers free dance classes for children, young people, adults, and seniors with disabilities. The initiative is carried out by the Instituto Arte Movimenta in partnership with Lápis de Seda Cia. de Dança Inclusiva.
There are 100 places available, divided between in-person classes at Lápis de Seda's headquarters and partner institutions in Florianópolis, and online classes open to participants from all over Brazil. The sessions will be held twice a week, lasting one hour, until December. No prior experience is necessary.
The activities follow the DanceAbility method, created by the American Alito Alessi, which uses improvisation to stimulate artistic creation and interaction between people with different skill levels.
Registration is free and can be done via an online form, available on the Instagram profiles @arte.movimenta and @cialapisdeseda. After registration, the team will contact the participants.
