O Victor Meirelles Museum (Ibram/MinC) is promoting a free drawing workshop for adults and young people aged 12 and up on April 10, 2026 (Friday) at 14 pm. The activity is based on the exhibition Systems for thinking about the systemThe exhibition, by Uruguayan artist Diego de los Campos, curated by Francine Goudel, brings together a diversity of machinery made from repurposed materials, reflecting on the patterns established by society. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to venue capacity. The exhibition lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and a certificate of attendance will be issued.
The aim is to present drawing as an artistic language through practical exercises that explore elements such as line, texture, light and shadow, composition, and spatiality. The activities seek to stimulate visual perception and experimentation based on the relationships between gesture, materiality, and space. The workshop will be led by visual artist Gustavo Henrique Scheidt, in a theoretical-practical format. At the end, participants will be able to share their work and reflect on the processes developed in dialogue with the exhibition.
