Aimed at those who already have contact with ocean sailing and want to acquire more experience, the course brings a practical and experiential approach on board the planckton sailboat, focusing on day and night navigation and the use of paper and electronic charts. An opportunity to experience the routine of long passages, visualizing each integral and essential part of a good boat crossing. Topics such as simple and electronic navigation, onboard safety and preparation of the boat and crew for long voyages are addressed.
The family was formed aboard the planckton sailboat, a fast, modern, safe and comfortable cruising sailboat, now moored for a season in Saint Anthony of Lisbon.
