The dispute is valid to declare the champions of the Florianópolis Cup and the Zonal Santa Catarina 2014 of Chess. The event is organized by the Santa Catarina Chess Federation and also counts on the selection of the two best placed members affiliated to the federation for the dispute of the semifinal 1 of the 81st Brazilian Championship, to be held in Belo Horizonte. There will be awards for the best placed in the absolute, women's, youth and unrating categories.
