Formed by original members of the Buena Vista Social Club orchestra, the group arrives in Florianópolis for an unforgettable show, on April 23, at the Oceania Convention Center (Ingleses neighborhood, North of the Island), starting at 19 pm.
Under the direction and conduction of the maestro, trumpet player and original composer of Buena Vista Social Club, Jesus “Water”” Ramos, the spectacle preserves the legacy left by the best-selling musical project in history.
The repertoire brings together the main classics, including songs from the album “Buena Vista Social Club”, released in 1997 and Grammy winner, in a full orchestra of 10 musicians.
The current ensemble includes other original Buena Vista Social Club members such as Luis “Betun” Mariano Valiente Marin (congas, bongo), Emilio Senon Morales Ruiz (piano) and Fabían Garcia (bass).
