The third edition of the History Showcase of the 2026 Santa Catarina Film Award will screen the film "Efapi Boul" (2024), by Daniela Farina and João Fernando Lucas, on June 26th at 19:30 pm.
The film portrays a soccer team formed by Haitian immigrants in Brazil, who achieve an unprecedented victory in the first division league. However, in the following years, the team faces defeats and difficulties in remaining in the championship.
With free admission, the film will be shown at the Gilberto Gerlach Cinema Hall in the Integrated Culture Center (CIC).
The Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC) exhibits films produced with resources from the grant promoted by the Santa Catarina Cultural Foundation (FCC).
The screenings take place monthly, always on a Friday of each month.
