the photographic exhibition Strange things happen... It has 32 photos produced by students of the Digital Photography workshop, taught by Rosana Cacciotore, at the Cultural Artistic Department (DAC)/SeCArte of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). The exhibition is the result of a practical exercise carried out by students of the Digital Photography workshop of the Cultural Artistic Department, during the second semester of 2018. 32 photographs, A3 size, on coated paper, divided into six thematic series of still lifes (scenes prepared from immovable objects), except one, the last, which depicts a landscape (found scene). According to Rosana, the creation process was based on objects brought by the students, whose objective was to produce photographic images that, in some way, said something about the historical moment we are experiencing. The objects, in the still lifes, were poetically associated, without ready conclusions, by thoughtless connections, resulting in images that suggest strangeness in their reading.
