To celebrate National Photographer's Day, commemorated on January 8th, Pátio Milano hosts the 2nd edition of the exhibition. "Profession - Photographer: Collective Exhibition in Honor of National Photographer's Day", promoted in partnership with Câmera Criativa Escola de Fotografia e Arte. The opening takes place on Thursday, January 22nd, starting at 19:30 PM.
In this edition, 40 photographers, including professionals, amateurs, and image enthusiasts, were selected by curators Luíla Vômero and Radilson Carlos Gomes. The exhibition brings together 85 photographs, in black and white and color, that explore different styles and languages, such as portraiture, landscape and nature, authorial and conceptual, documentary and photojournalism, reflecting the diversity of perspectives and narratives present in contemporary photography.
According to Luíla Vômero, director of Câmera Criativa, the exhibition is a tribute to photographers who, through their lenses, invite the public to reflect on existence, human relationships, and connection with the surrounding environment. “The art of capturing moments, emotions, and stories is essential to our society. Each photograph on display expands how we see and feel the world, revealing the beauty of everyday life and the depth of human experiences,” she states.
For Paty Alves, marketing manager of Pátio Milano, hosting the exhibition reinforces the space's role as a cultural meeting point in the city center. “Pátio Milano was conceived to integrate gastronomy, culture, and experiences. Hosting a collective exhibition like this broadens access to art and invites the public to occupy the space in a more sensitive, reflective way, connected to local cultural production,” she emphasizes.
The exhibition is open to the public and can be visited until February 22, 2026, during the opening hours of Pátio Milano, located at Avenida Mauro Ramos, 1512, in the center of Florianópolis.
