From April 13th to 25th, the Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC) receives the exhibition "Office Memorial". With free visits from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 21 pm, the exhibition relates scenographic pieces to famous films with materials belonging to the Memorial do Ofício.
The clip "The old woman spinning", by Humberto Mauro (1964), will be represented by a "spinning wheel"; the Canadian replica of the Penny Farthing bicycle, named after two English coins, one large and one small, will remind us of the eternal Charles Chaplin. The surfboard, from 1968, which refers to the film "Menino do Rio" will also be on display; retractable train seats, whose backrests move forward, and a rare theodolite, tell the story of the film "Paying Train Robbery". The sound history part contains a rare North American phonograph from Thomas Edison, from 1906; a Uruguayan gramophone, from 1930; and a 3 in 1 National, from the 1980s.
