From July 20th to August 18th, the Espaço Oficinas do Centro Integrado de Cultura (CIC) hosts the exhibition Notas de uma Melodia Visual, by Eliane Prudencio da Costa, curated by Marcello Carpes.
The exhibition marks the artist's return to the capital's artistic scene. Eliane, an exponent artist from the 90s, presents a series of new paintings to the visiting public at CIC, where she explores the relationship between time and space, passages of a dreamlike time seen from her poetic windows. Between the internal and external, visuality and sound, his canvases appear as a kind of musical score, composed of a fluid gesture and an excellent knowledge of colors. The visual compositions invite visitors to enter and discover the details of this image/sound universe.
At the opening of the exhibition, the band Mil Flores, by Cacília Ramos, Emanuel Pereira, João Rômulo, Juan Carvalho, Luiz Mesquita, Marcelo Frias, Patrícia Amante, Silvano André Malagoli and Sérgio Prosdócimo, will give a performance filling the hall of the Integrated Center with musicality of Culture.

about the artist
Eliane Prudencio da Costa was born in Laguna/SC (1961). She worked at the Educational Action Center and the Research and Documentation Center at the Santa Catarina Art Museum (MASC). She graduated in Artistic Education from the Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB) and in Fine Arts from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). He participated in courses and workshops with Jayro Schmidt, Flávia Fernandes, Fernando Lindote, Bebeto, Edyth Derdyck and Alfonso Ballestero, attended the free studio of the Art Workshops of the Integrated Center of Culture (CIC) between 1987-2008, in addition to the Ceramics course at Education with Maria do Barro at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC).
