"Museums and controversial histories: saying the unspeakable in museums" is the theme of the 15th Museum Week, which takes place between the 15th and 21st of May, in celebration of the International Museum Day (May 18th). In this edition, 1070 museums participate in the season of events promoted by the Brazilian Institute of Museums – Ibram. There are more than 3000 events in 485 cities across the country. In Florianópolis, the museum Victor Meirelles offers the workshop Video-art-animation production, on the 15th, 19th, 22nd and 26th of May, from 14pm to 18pm. O Museum of the Man of Sambaqui also participates in programming with the mediated visit, from the 01st to the 31st of May, from 13:30 pm to 17:30 pm.
