
Selected in the Public Call Paulo Gaiad – 1st solo exhibition - 2024, the exhibition, which will occupy the Paulo Gaiad Space, is composed essentially of paintings, the artist's notebooks and video projection. According to Tauan, the solo exhibition is unprecedented and covers a selection of the production and research in painting developed during the year 2023 and early 2024.
With artistic production by Lívia De Pelegrin, “Cruzos Opacos” serves as a space for reflection based on the figuration of black people, in the conceptual and practical key of crossroads. “Crossroads between Afro-Brazilian knowledge and practices in relation to historical images. Projecting other ways of being, existing and relating”, emphasizes Gon.
“Cruzos Opacos” can be visited until March 6th at the BADESC Cultural Foundation, located at Rua Visconde de Ouro Preto, 216, in downtown Florianópolis. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday, from 13pm to 19pm.
