The pet adoption fair season begins this Saturday, the 27th, at Continente Shopping. In 2024, the fairs will be held in the Orange Sector of the project, at access 02, in an air-conditioned space. This is not the only new feature of the year, Acium will present pets adopted at fairs with a personalized pendant. This year's first edition will be held in partnership with the Collective Protection United of São José, from 14pm to 18pm.

To adopt, you must be over 18 years old, bring an identity document and proof of residence. Candidates for guardians undergo an interview to ensure that interested parties will have adequate space and awareness to carry out the adoption responsibly. In addition, food donation stations, cleaning products for the NGO and collection of caps and seals will be available at the fair.

The bottle cap collection campaign is part of the Ecopet project, which exchanges recyclable objects for neutering stray animals, or those belonging to needy families. The campaign collects plastic caps of different types, such as plastic bottle caps, shampoo caps, milk caps, fabric softener caps, liquid soap caps and medicine packaging, for example.

The adoption fairs of the month will be held on the first two Saturdays of February. On the 03rd with the United Protection Collective and on the 10th with the Friends and Protectors of Animals of Palhoça (APRAP).
