The traditional Florianópolis Cheese Fair arrives in the fifth edition. With free entry, the exhibition, curated by Tiago Pascoal from Ao Queijo, presents new brands this season. With the participation of certified producers from Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais, the fair takes place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of April in the entrance hall of MULTI Open Shopping, in Rio Tavares.
Among the new products at the 5th Cheese Fair are the Santa Catarina brands Nonno Luigi, which is a small artisanal delicatessen factory in São Miguel do Oeste, Queijaria Boca da Serra, from Águas Mornas, which already has award-winning cheeses in state and national competitions, and Queijaria Kaufer, in Rancho Queado, which produces sheep's cheese. Another newcomer is Queijos DiCapre, which produces goat's milk cheese in the city of Itanhandu/MG. The company participates in a fair in Santa Catarina for the first time.
“In every edition we try to bring new products and debut brands. Cheese production is immense in Brazil and the Fair, in partnership with MULTI, seeks to provide and present some highlights of Brazilian production”, highlights Pascoal.
In addition to cheeses made from cows, goats and sheep, such as serrano, diamond and canasta, anyone who visits the fair will find cold cuts, olive oil, biscuits, jams, dulce de leche and honey. The fair takes place in the MULTI lobby and opening hours will be from 17pm to 22pm on Friday the 19th, from 10am to 22pm on Saturday the 20th and from 12pm to 20pm on Sunday the 21st.
