To samba-rock lovers, a warning: marelua gather his friends this Saturday and go on a sound attack at Casa de Noca. Who completes the sheet of the night are the special guests, the percussionists Tiko do tambourine, CopaLord's Nan e Andre Tantan. The multicultural space opens at 22 pm and the musical performance starts at midnight.
The band Marelua is formed by musicians who already worked in the Florianopolitan music scene. Leo Vieira, vocalist and composer, is the creator of the project that also brings: Henrique Soares, Neto Fernandes, Nilinho Adriano, Dido da Cuíca, Rafael Leandro, Thiago Grando, Uilian Pimenta, Jean Carlos, Carlão, Rafael Thiesen. The band proposes to make the true and pure samba/rock, seeking to rescue the roots of this movement, valuing the balance and thus awakening the interest in dance that is little remembered nowadays. The influences are diverse and from different aspects of music, but always respecting the language of “sambalanço”, maintaining a strong and characteristic identity.
