3rd edition of the Geek Walk at Passeio Pedra Branca

Passeio Geek, the largest open-air geek culture festival in Santa Catarina, is in its third edition, bringing together enthusiasts of pop culture, gaming, art, and technology.

It takes place at Passeio Pedra Branca (in the Covered Square, next to Hippo, in the Atrium Building and around the reflecting pool), in Palhoça, in November 22nd and 23rd.

The schedule takes placeFrom 11am to 20pm, with free entry upon donation of 1kg of non-perishable food.

Ticket withdrawal via Sympla It's not mandatory, but it's a suggestion from the event itself for control purposes.

It is a production of Geek Cursos, Wasabi Cosplay, WK Enter and Floripa Stars.

It is sponsored by Passeio Pedra Branca, Xppen, Senac and CCG Floripa, and supported by the Palhoça City Hall, the Department of Tourism and SC Games. 

Special attractions

21 exhibitors, 20 independent artists from various regions of the state, 11 indie games, a board game and card game area will be some of the attractions.

In addition, it will feature a professional racing simulator, roller skating and cosplay, workshops, tournaments, and a series of unique attractions.

Among the highlights are the Cosplay Contest, with 50 spots and cash prizes, and the K-pop Contest, which will also offer cash prizes.

The event will also feature actress and voice actress Luisa Horta, known for voices such as Ochaco Uraraka (My Hero Academia), Cha Hae-In (Solo Leveling), Camie (One Piece), and Skye (Valorant). She has also appeared in Zoo da Zu, Mundo Curioso, and Dragon (Globoplay).

There will be a show by the band BabyMetal Brasil Cover, directly from Rio Grande do Sul, for the first time in Santa Catarina. 

In addition, there will be screenings of animations from Belli Studio, a production company from Santa Catarina with over 25 years of experience and internationally recognized for series such as... Boris and Rufus, Tuca, the Master Chef e Blue Sea Squadron, winner of the 2024 Grande Otelo Award for Best Brazilian Animated Series. 

Senac is present with virtual reality (VR) experiences and games created by students, while the Cosplay Hospital, the photography studio, and the XPPen Drawing Challenge expand the programming focused on creativity.

The event also features workshops, an Escape Room area, Pokémon TCG classes, chats with developers, a meet-up with illustrators, flash tattoos, and fun challenges like "Alien Chips with Coke" and the "Wasabi Challenge."
