Continente Shopping is hosting a special program from March 19th to 23rd to celebrate the anniversaries of São José (March 19th) and Florianópolis (March 23rd). The schedule includes cultural attractions, musical performances, promotional activities at the cinema, and an art exhibition that pays homage to the landscapes and identity of the two cities in the Greater Florianópolis area.
On March 19th, the Cinépolis movie theater at the shopping mall will have tickets at 50% off all day. The promotion is valid exclusively for ticket purchases at the cinema box office and does not apply to the concession stand.
Also on the 19th, the public can enjoy the free show Heroínas do K-Pop, a musical attraction inspired by the universe of Korean pop culture, with choreographies and performances that dialogue with the global phenomenon of the genre. The presentation takes place at 19 pm. Gisele Onofre, marketing manager of Continente Shopping, highlights that “São José and Florianópolis are part of the Continente Shopping audience. Planning a special program for these dates is a way to recognize cultural strength, as well as offer experiences for different audiences.”
On March 20th, at 19 PM, in the Central Square, the program continues with live painting by artist Fernando Teixeira, who will produce, in real time, a work inspired by São José. The activity will be accompanied by a jazz duo, creating an atmosphere that integrates visual art and live music. In addition to the live painting, throughout the month of March, the public can also visit Fernando's exhibition, featuring works that depict other landscapes and cultural references from São José and Florianópolis. The exhibition is open for viewing at the Continente Cultura store, in front of Kopenhagen, during the mall's opening hours.
On March 21st, the highlight is the children's show "The Girl from the Magic House," inspired by the series "Gabby's Magic House." The production addresses themes such as creativity, friendship, and imagination, in an experience geared towards families. The show will be held at 16 PM.
With a special program, Continente Shopping connects culture, entertainment, and celebration of the cities that are part of Greater Florianópolis. “By bringing together cinema, music, art, and attractions for children, we are able to engage with different generations and transform the cities' anniversary week into an invitation for families to enjoy the shopping mall as a space for socializing,” adds Gisele.
