The AMOCAN (Canasvieiras Residents Association) Arraiá (traditional Brazilian June festival) brings excitement to Canasvieiras. The program promises to bring together residents, families, and visitors for an evening of community gathering, with... local foods, thematic presentations, fire pit and activities aimed at all ages.
The event will take place this Saturday, July 4th, starting at 17 PM, and proceeds will go towards improvements to the rooms used for serving autistic individuals and supporting social programs developed by the association.
Among the initiatives supported and coordinated by AMOCAN is a project aimed at the autistic spectrum community, in partnership with AMA, which serves approximately 100 children and adolescents and has about 150 more people on the waiting list. This demand highlights the importance of expanding spaces for support, care, and inclusion for families in Canasvieiras and the surrounding region.
