This Saturday, August 24th, the Bloco Filhas e Filhes de Eva parades take place in the Center of the Capital, which pay homage to women and non-binary people in the artistic scene of Florianópolis.
There will be four presentations (parades), the first of which will celebrate Margarete da Rosa Vieira, the coordinator of Baque Mulher Floripa and Baiana Rica at Arrasta Ilha.
The processions start at 11am, at Antigo Miramar (Praça Fernando Machado, Av. Paulo Fontes) and travel to the Arco Íris Institute for Human Rights, in the center of Florianópolis.
Bloco Filhas e Filhes de Eva is the first wind and percussion collective formed only by women and gender diversity in Florianópolis.
The event is free and open to the public.
