Camerata Florianópolis performs this Tuesday (21) at the Capital's Metropolitan Cathedral, with a concert dedicated to the great works of the Baroque period, bringing to the heart of the city a repertoire that spans centuries and enchants generations. Under the baton of maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, the audience will be able to enjoy classics by composers Antonio Vivaldi and Georg Friedrich Händel, starting at 20 pm. Admission is free, but it is necessary to arrive early to guarantee a good seat.
Soloists Iva Giracca, Talita Limas, Elias Vicente Souza, Débora Remor (violin), and Raphael Buratto and Érico Schmitt (cello) will perform on stage. In an evening celebrating classical music, the repertoire offers an immersion into the compositions of two of the greatest names of the Baroque period, renowned for the rich melody, sonic contrasts, and expressiveness of their works.
The presentation is part of the permanent program of Camerata Florianópolis, which seeks to bring the public closer to classical music through free and accessible events.
With production direction by Maria Elita Pereira, the concert is a project of the Ministry of Culture and the Federal Government, through the Rouanet Law to encourage cultural projects, with sponsorship from Fort Atacadista and Engie, and support from the Metropolitan Cathedral of Florianópolis.
