Next Saturday, September 14, starting at 14 pm, Continente Shopping will host the third edition of the Amateur Rubik's Cube Championship, promoted by Jogaderia. The event promises to bring together competitors of all ages to challenge their skills and try to beat their own records in the popular three-dimensional puzzle.
The competition, which is free, is open to players aged 6 and over and will feature two categories: 3x3 and 2x2. Each participant will have three attempts to assemble the cube, and the best time will be considered for classification. The five fastest competitors in each category will receive prizes. For those aged 6 to 12, the presence of a responsible adult is mandatory.
Registration for the championship can be done in advance via Sympla or directly on site, from 14pm to 15pm, subject to availability, which are limited to 80 participants. There is no restriction on the audience to watch the competition, which will take place in an exclusive space inside the shopping mall.
In addition to the competition tables, there will be tables available for the general public, who will be able to learn about and assemble different types of Rubik's cubes at the event. A new feature of this edition is the possibility of choosing a time to attempt, giving competitors more flexibility. The 3x3 modality will take place from 15 pm to 18 pm, while the 2x2 will be from 18 pm to 20 pm.
