This December, the Salvatorian Fatima School, located in the Estreito neighborhood of Florianópolis, will hold its first ever large Christmas parade open to the community, bringing all the emotion and true meaning of this holiday to the Beira-Mar Continental waterfront. The event will take place on December 6th at 9:00 AM, starting near Cabeça Lanches e Pizzaria, and will bring together students and teachers from different classes, from preschool to high school, along with family members and community members, in an artistic celebration that promises to enchant the audience.
The parade will feature eight themed sections - Lantern/Advent, Bells – Announcement of Christmas, Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus, Angels, Shepherds, Stars, Wise Men and Hope and Peace - which, together, tell the story of the birth of Jesus and symbolize values such as faith, unity and solidarity.
In addition to the parades, the event will feature performances by the school's skating, gymnastics, dance, and circus groups, who have been preparing throughout the year with extracurricular activities focused on the artistic and physical development of the students.
