
Carnaval Atlântida, by José Carlos Burle and Carlos Manga (1952) is shown for free on O-Lhó-Lhó Film Club form the show decolonized, which includes films that addressed some realities of colonized populations, emphasizing exclusion and marginalization with their own nuances and particularities. The Ó-Lhó-Lhó Cineclube is located in Federal Institute of Santa Catarina Campus Florianópolis (IFSC) addressed at Avenida Mauro Ramos, number 700, in downtown Florianópolis.
Synopsis: Film producer Cecil B. de Milho is making a film about Helen of Troy. So he hires Professor Xenophons, an expert in Greek history, to help with the screenplay. The actors, however, prefer to perform a musical comedy and want the filmmaker to change his mind.
