For those passionate about photography, culture and art, the exhibition "Light and its metamorphoses", by photographer Danísio Silva, runs until September 22 at the Image and Sound Museum of Santa Catarina, at the Integrated Culture Center, in the Agronômica neighborhood, in Florianópolis.
There are 50 images that will be presented on 75-inch television sets, most of which are taken from nature. According to the photographer, the works function as a mental deconditioning.
Admission is free. The exhibition runs from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 21pm.

About Danísio Silva
Danísio Silva is a professional photographer who has participated in numerous exhibitions in Brazil and around the world. For 27 years, he worked at the Santa Catarina Culture Foundation and the Image and Sound Museum of Santa Catarina. He was a member of the photography group "7 nós" and has worked for magazines and newspapers throughout the country, such as “Época”, “Veja”, “Cláudia”, “Vitrine”, “Cartaz”, “Ô Catarina!”, “Folha de S.Paulo” and “Valor Econômico”.
He was also a photographer for Camerata Florianópolis and Pró-Música de Florianópolis and has taught photography courses.
Furthermore, in partnership with journalist and writer Paulo Clóvis Schmitz, he published the books “Public Market and its stories”, “Florianópolis seen from above”, “Florianópolis seen from the sea”, “Hidden beauties of Florianópolis”, as well as “Florianópolis seen from within” and “Florianópolis 180 degrees”.
He also published the books “Poetics of diversity”, “Florianópolis in black and white”, “Trails and stories on Santa Catarina Island”, “Fisherman's ranch on Santa Catarina Island” and “Connections”.
