Until Sunday, November 30th, the exhibition "Improbable Image – Machine for Producing Limitless Limits" will be on display at the Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina, in the CIC. Admission is free.
Open to the public since October, it operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 21 pm.
The central theme of the exhibition is the age of excess and the new challenges brought about by the profusion of images in our time.
The images from the 11 artists reveal photographs open to the unpredictable, oscillating between sharpness and apparition, showing and confusing, varying processes, language, and medium.
Curated by Eneléo Alcides and Mario Oliveira, it features works by photographers Adriana Fuchter, Alessandra Almeida, Eneléo Alcides, Juliana Hoffmann, Henrique Pereira, Maíra Ishida, Maria de Minas, Mario Oliveira, Mateus Mossmann, Michele Monteiro, and Olavo Kucker.
