The weekend promises to bring excitement to Continente Shopping with a program that combines internationally acclaimed films and leisure attractions for all ages. One of the highlights is "The Secret Agent," a Brazilian film that won two Golden Globe awards for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Actor in a Drama for Wagner Moura, and is returning to the Cinépolis cinema in the shopping center.
With over 1,2 million viewers in Brazil, the film is one of the main contenders for a spot among foreign films at the Oscars, further sparking public interest. The production highlights Brazilian films on the international stage and becomes an excellent cultural option for those seeking a different kind of weekend entertainment.
The Cinépolis program at Continente Shopping also includes other featured titles, such as Hamnet: Life Before Hamlet, an award-winning film that revisits Shakespeare's work from a new perspective and is also emerging as a strong contender in the upcoming Oscar season. Rounding out the program are SpongeBob SquarePants: In Search of SquarePants, Avatar: Fire and Ashes, and The Housemaid, expanding the options for different audiences and age groups.
In addition to the cinema, Continente Shopping continues with a special holiday program aimed at children and families. Among the attractions is Capivalley, the first capybara-themed park in Santa Catarina, located in the Events Plaza. The experience combines fun, environmental education, and inclusion, with playful activities, educational games, and meet-and-greets with characters. On Saturday and Sunday, from 14 pm to 16 pm, there will be a meet-and-greet with Cacá and Capitu, the protagonists of the park's story.
Another highlight is the Snow Kingdom Park, located in the Food Court, which invites children to experience a frosty themed environment, with games and challenges inspired by the world of snow. This attraction is yet another option for those seeking entertainment during the school holidays.
The shopping center also offers permanent leisure options, such as Wow Park, Divert Park, and Antônio's Bowling Alley. "Our goal is to bring together culture, leisure, and family moments in one place," emphasizes Fábio Quintana, marketing manager of Continente Shopping.
