Free storytelling training in Florianópolis

On May 24th and 25th, from 14pm to 18pm (on Saturday) and at two times on Sunday (10am to 12pm and 13pm to 15pm), the Instituto História Viva will be starting an unprecedented storytelling training course in Florianópolis, which involves theory and practice.

There will be 3 months of training, with interactive and dynamic theoretical training (in May), the practice of listening and enchanting in nursing homes (on June 7, from 14 pm to 18 pm, location to be defined) and also graduation (in August, date to be defined).

Completely Free, The course also offers presentations in nursing homes, schools, hospitals and institutions for children and young people. This last modality is scheduled to take place in August, with no date yet set. from 10am to 12pm, and from 14pm to 18pm.

The project will be carried out at Cyta, nthe Santa Monica neighborhood, and is recommended for people interested in joining the Instituto História Viva volunteer network in the city.

More than reporting events, storytelling aims to promote cultures and provide comfort and hope to diverse audiences.

With around 16 thousand people impacted in seven Brazilian states, the project has existed for 20 years and has already trained more than 3.500 people.
