The next destination for “SANTA CATARINA CANTA - Brazilian Music Festival” is Greater Florianópolis, to continue the regional selections, which have already passed through the Far West, South and North of the State. The auditions will begin in the city of Tijucas on Monday (28), at the Leda Regina de Souza Amphitheater, and continue on Wednesday (30), in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, at the Rural Workers' Union, and Thursday (31), in Florianópolis, at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC). All performances are free and scheduled to start at 20 pm.
Those selected from the General and Youth categories of the three regional competitions will advance to the semifinals on October 5th in Florianópolis at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), and then to the grand finale on November 9th, also in the capital. During the auditions, candidates are evaluated by a technical panel based on criteria such as vocal technique, pitch, diction, rhythm, originality, stage presence, and audience interaction.
