The publication brings together ten fictional short stories created from interviews with people who grew up under the impact of domestic violence suffered by their mothers. One of the accounts is that of Maria Abdalla, daughter of teacher Alessandra Abdalla, who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in the Tapera neighborhood of Florianópolis. The book features digital illustrations made from keywords from the interviews and has a team composed exclusively of women: Maria Luiza Amorim in design and Sabrina Zanon in editing. The work has 172 pages in pocket format and will be distributed free of charge on the day of its launch.

This is Júlia's first physical book, who previously organized the digital project "100 women – 5 questions", launched in 2022 as a result of an award from the Aldir Blanc Grant. Originally from Ribeirão da Ilha, Júlia is 29 years old, holds a master's degree in Design from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and a bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
