For those who are tuned into the programming of 12th Cultural MarathonBetween March 20th and 23rd, in Florianópolis, you can't miss the solo exhibition "Silent Beds for Suspended Words" by visual artist Zans. On the weekend of March 21st and 23rd, from 15 pm to 18 pm, he will be at the Meyer Filho Memorial to meet visitors and be open for conversations about his work.
Immersed in a sea of silence, Zans explores the space between image and word, aiming to capture something that emerges from actively observing. "The image enters where words become impossible. They are voices attempting to sound a silence, images rehearsing to write," states the artist.
Curated by Kamilla Nunes, the exhibition brings together 25 works—including photographs, sculptures, and series—that create pauses, open up spaces, and propose an encounter with that which remains unresolved. On display until May 08th at the Meyer Filho Memorial, admission is free. The Meyer Filho Institute is supported by Banco do Brasil, the Franklin Cascaes Cultural Foundation of Florianópolis, and the Municipality of Florianópolis.
Start: 21/03/2026 15:00
End: 22/03/2026 18:00
