The producer Theatrical Table presents his first play, The Auto of the Unjustly Wronged, an original text by Cristian Menna inspired by The Car of Compadecida, by Ariano Suassuna. The show proposes an intriguing twist on the iconic trial scene, inviting the characters to reenact moments from the Devil's past, a being tired of his role and reluctant to follow his destiny.
The play, which combines humor, emotion and elements of Magical Realism, features costumes that transition between different eras and a striking characterization, guaranteeing a unique visual immersion.
The premiere will take place on March 21st, at 18:30 pm, at Caixa Preta (Block D of CCE/UFSC), as part of the Academic Exhibition of Performing Arts (MAÇÃ) and the Florianópolis Cultural Marathon. Admission is free, with tickets distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The space seats 60 spectators and will have a Reception Room for audiences who require a more comfortable environment.
