To commemorate the XNUMXth birthday of the celebrated Italian filmmaker Frederico Fellini, Cinematic Session - which holds film screenings in the Integrated Culture Center (CIC) -, promotes the shows 100 Years of Fellini. Two films by the director are shown: 8½, on 03/02 and Satyricon, on 04/02. The distribution of tickets starts at 19pm, followed by mediations and the films are shown from 20pm.
"8''" (1963, 138min, 14 years):
Synopsis: Film director Guido Anselmi is about to shoot his next film, but he's out of ideas for the film. Pressured by everyone, he starts to work so hard that he can no longer distinguish reality from fantasy.
"Satyricon" (1969, 124min, 16 years):
Synopsis: After his young love, Gitone, leaves him for another man, Encolpio decides to kill himself, but a sudden earthquake destroys his home before he has a chance to complete his plan. Wandering Rome in Nero's time, Encolpio encounters a bizarre and surreal setting. He is invited to a poetry reading that ends in violence, is taken hostage by pirates and forced to fight a gladiator disguised as a minotaur in a giant labyrinth.
