Panvision opens registration for 2025 Film Festivals

Starting this Thursday, March 6, registrations are open for the 4th Latin American Audiovisual Festival of São Francisco do Sul – FALA São Chico and for the 29th edition of the Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul International Film Festival – FAM 2025. The festivals, organized by the Panvision Cultural Association, have adopted a Unified Registration Guide, facilitating the process for filmmakers from Brazil and Latin American countries. Registration is free, except for the FAM Work in Progress Exhibition, which has a fee of R$100,00.

FALA São Chico, dedicated exclusively to documentaries, will take place from June 25 to 28 in São Francisco do Sul and accepts short films of 3 to 15 minutes from 20 countries. FAM 2025, one of the main film festivals in Brazil, will be held from September 4 to 10 in Florianópolis, with eight competitive exhibitions for shorts, features and music videos from 10 countries. Both programs prioritize works that promote debates on social, environmental and economic sustainability, in addition to encouraging accessibility, requiring Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (LSE) in Brazilian productions.

Interested parties must register exclusively through the website www.panvision.com.br. The deadline for FALA São Chico is April 17, while FAM 2025 receives applications until June 17.
