In order to provide a special moment to celebrate Mother's Day, MULTI Open Shopping, in Rio Tavares, in Florianópolis, promotes the free event Um Respiro No Seu Dia. The action will take place on the morning of Saturday, May 13, at the open shopping boulevard.
“The goal is for mothers to enjoy a different Saturday the day before Mother's Day. So much so that the schedule includes activities for children at the same time as activities for mothers. The idea is that they can enjoy and make the most of their experiences,” says MULTI Open Shopping’s marketing manager, Verônica Carniel.
The program begins at 9:9 am with a welcome, then at 30:XNUMX am, the Botânico – Colheita Criativa restaurant presents a Chacka Yoga class with Sabrina Baby. Born in Florianopolis, Sabrina, who has lived in New York, Miami and San Diego and studied with great masters of yoga, ayurveda and meditation, uses her classes as great portals of inspiration. Be it with welcoming words or in the perception of her own feelings, Sabrina awakens the courage to look inside.
“The practice of Chakra Yoga focuses on the energy of the Mother. A deep dive to honor Being a Mother, and to thank all the women who dedicated their lives to their children. It's a practice to nurture feminine energy, and maternal intuition and the unconditional love that flows from mother to children,” she explains.
At the same time, 9:30 am, teachers Polly Niehues and Larissa von Hartenthal will start the Yoga Kids and Emotional Education class.
“Our class begins with a child's talk about what emotions are and where they go through our body. Anger, sadness, fear, joy. And after talking and listening to some new ideas, it's time to move the body, starting with Sun Salutation for children and taking the first steps in the practice of children's meditation through breathing”, share the teachers.
It is recommended that children under 4 years old be accompanied by a guardian during the activities.
After the class, at 11 am, the Terra Maya Cosmética Natural team, in partnership with Bioart, will promote self-care experiences. And Meu Salão will be offering kits and bouquets of flowers.

At 19 pm, Porto Oliveira Gastronomia presents the Jazz Night - Mother's Week Special with presentation of Jazz and Bossa Nova classics with Mari Leonel Jazz Duo.
On Saturday, the 13th, at 17:30 pm, there will be a Kids Painting Workshop: Portraits of mothers and children with artist Franco Rodrigo. Entries worth R$ 30 can be made at sympla.
