Lion King, Frozen and princesses on stage: Camerata Florianópolis presents an enchanting show at the CIC to celebrate Children's Day.

Magic lands in Florianópolis! The show “Disney Classics”, presented by Camerata Florianópolis, arrives at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC) on October 9th, starting at 19:30 pm, for a special Children's Day celebration. Tickets are already available on the Blueticket platform.

The enchanting universe of Disney princesses and classic characters takes on new dimensions with the elegance of concert music. Under the direction of maestro Jeferson Della Rocca and with the participation of soloists Amandah Amâncio, Carla Domingues, Joana Castanheira, Nick Scalzo and Sofia Ouriques, the show also features narration by Lieza Neves, arrangements by Alberto Heller and costumes by José Alfredo Beirão.

Designed especially for children, the show premiered in 2019, and adults always request its return at this time of year.

It will be a night of immersion in a world of fantasy. Many children dress up in costumes and go to the theater to sing and dance along with the characters. On stage, the music transforms into a combination of colors, lights, projections of scenes inspired by the songs, and costumes that transport the audience into the stories. The repertoire includes soundtracks from films such as "Frozen," "The Lion King," "Beauty and the Beast," "Cinderella," "The Little Mermaid," and "Aladdin."

From his earliest films, Walt Disney combined his stories with enchanting music, relying on brilliant teams of composers, orchestrators, and performers. "From 1937, with 'Snow White', to the present day, Disney films and cartoons have accumulated an unparalleled collection of wonderful musical works that touch everyone, children and adults alike," comments conductor Jeferson Della Rocca.

With production direction by Maria Elita Pereira, the concert is sponsored by ENGIE and FORT Atacadista.
